A little bit about Brendan:
Brendan Bush is a freelance photographer based in Roanoke Virginia. He graduated from Western Kentucky University in May 1998 with a degree in photojournalism. After several years of working as a daily newspaper photographer in 2005 he left his job to follow his wife to Roanoke VA.
Since moving to Roanoke, Brendan has been working for himself. He photographs a wide variety of editorial and commercial assignments every year including many events for Roanoke College. Brendan applies a photojournalistic style to everything he shoots. He chooses not to control or orchestrate his subjects but encourages them to interact with their settings in a natural way that gives his pictures a realistic and organic look.
